strawberry fields (recipe for making lists)

19 Apr

Holiday fun things:

  • see Chagall expo
  • blow bubbles in park
  • plant radishes
  • eat strawberries
  • draw strawberries (if I can resist eating them first)
  • pay taxes
  • apply for cookery school
  • make banana pancakes
  • listen to songs about tangerines

How to make a perfect list

several pieces of clean white paper

lots of coloured felt tips

a well loved biro

Take one piece of white paper. Start with something simple and fun. Something easy. “Eat breakfast” is a good one. If your task has already been completed, tick it off with a coloured pen.

Now add something cultural, something worthy. Add something delicious. Something decadent. Something frivolous. Quickly sneak in something important (taxes). Something life-changing. Balance it out with some more frivolity and a dash of crazy music for extra moral.

If you are a proper list nerd, make a clean copy with extra colours. Stick it on the wall and take inordinate pleasure in ticking off your “tasks”.

Haha, good tips, especially writing it out again. I do that. Have you seen Regina live? She is awesome.

So so good. Teeny-tiny, she wore sparlkly shoes and said fuck a lot. How about Dance Anthem of the Eighties? Or Love You’re a Whore?

Wow…..not sure I’m ready for this but I’ll give it a go! I’m a terrible shopper, I always leave something crucial behind! Then again, this is a great excuse to get Dave outta my hair when I’m in the kitchen. You can’t imagine how many times I’ve sent him off to pick up ‘Cream of Tarter’ or other hard to find product at the supermarket! Aren’t I mean 😉 Now, something else you may be able help me with – what can I cook with it? Alissa.
